Main Line Fly-Tyers

Philadelphia's Oldest Fly Tying Club

Established 1971

Every spring for the start of trout season the Main Line Fly-Tyers club conducts a full day fly fishing clinic in the Pennsylvannia Poconos.  The clinic includes seminars on selecting and rigging your equipment, fly casting instructions, fishing strategies and on-stream demonstrations of wet, nymphing and dry fly fishing. Time is allotted at the end of the day to practice what you've learned for fishing the well maintained Bushkill Creek. The clinic is held at the Resica Falls Boy Scout Reservation, outside of Marshalls Creek, PA. This "Learn to Fly Fish Day" is free to members and open to the public for a nominal fee. The all day program includes a barbeque lunch.
