Had a "good" day @ local stream (Little Lehigh Crk). Caught a 14" 'bow on an ant.

Also caught a 10" brown on a, ahem, self designed power bait fly.

However, I had more hookups that were lost than catches. A large trout that hit a crayfish fly leaped high out-of-the-water & ran the stream before spitting the hook. Another struck a red San Juan worm. A big trout bit on an Al's rat & surfaced before it was lost. 2 Trout struck a tandem of flies before releasing the fly of choice.

You cant beat the little L for its close proximity or its fish population not to mention all the eye candy that jogs by .Do not discount the open water there are plenty of fish all the way thru the creek not just the fly zone .
