Haven't been fishin' in 4 weeks so I went yesterday to the Little Lehigh Crk which was high w/a temp of 54 degrees. Long story short: caught 6, all but one in the 12"-14" range, lost 2 on a large Katydid & Letort grasshopper when the tippet broke . Trout also hit beetles & a BH Hares Ear. Shown below are several catches.

Glad to hear someone is fishing and sharing youre adventures .I am sorry to hear certain people are still looking for those mythical cicadas . I t is like a starving indian in the late 1800's waiting for the Buffalo . I think somone got buffaloed into thinking this Cicada thing was real .
I was stirring the pot all weekend . I started cooking some traps in lyewater I found a good supply of lye at Decks hardware in Ambler . This lyewater treatment is the first step in trap treatment to remove all the crud and foreign matter next step is to let them rust and then reboil in logwood dye and then wax . Then start setting them out and catching furbearin critters worth cash money when skuned and dryed . I AM A FREE TRAPPER BY GOD AND ILL SELL MY PELTS TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER .
