Well another learn to fish day has come and gone with a tremendous turn out . No doubt the work of the dilligent members pushing this day on the general publick a job well done by all who helped . Just a word to all you libarache wanna bes why does everybody have to go down to the piano pool besides the easy fish ?There are 6 miles of stream you are allowed to fish lots of it is stocked for some more easy fish for all the beginers . I am not a big fan of libarachy or the piano pool every time I go there it is packed with people I heard there were like 30 people in there saturday . My favorite place is the firestone falls and all the water up there around it usualy there is plenty of room and lots of fish but I have never seen 30 people there at one time and no cadellaberas . Next year we should spread out a little to sampel more water besides the libarachy pool . I WISH MY BROTHER GEORGE WERE HERE .

I had a good time fishing the Billy Joel pool, hanging with everyone & my brother George was there. He put a beginner on his first fish on a flymph! Was awesome!

Hey Steve, I like your recommendation of fishing the Firestone Scout Reservation (near Ressica Falls), especially downstream from the water falls. The time that I tried it there was only 1 other fisherman! However, ya' gotta let the fishermen who haven't fished it know that it is physically challenging to walk back, since returning requires a looooooong, UPHILL trek. That's OK for you younger people, but us older geezers (I'm 72+ w/3 minor heart attacks) may have difficulty walking back! But you're right, it is good fishin' w/out much competition, if one can handle the trip back.

Ed - I used to fish the Firestone Falls a lot. But not so much any more because of the walk out. You could try taking a tube along, and then float out just make sure to get out at the Rt 402 bridge before the main falls

Life is good! I started out with nothing and I still have half of it left!
