Well I think I've seen it all and then this happens, I caught a blue rainbow. I'm talking ty-d-bowl blue, blue head ,blue back,blue eyes even and washed out silver below the lateral line. and no picture. At least not in my possession, a swell and a guide happened to be floating
by behind me when I landed it and the guy took a cell phone picture of it for posterity, just not my posterity. It seems the PFBC in raising their millions of trout happen upon a genetic anomaly of blue trout and cull them immediately, this one apparently escaped and is still swimming around the poconos. I'd call BS if it wasn't in my hands, my buddy JB was there but he's colorblind and won't admit it. I hope that dude posts it somewhere and I find it. |
