Christmas day I was invited to my Godmothers. Her granddaughter Jill mentioned to me that she wanted to get into fly fishing and I told her not to buy any flys I will give her enough to get stated . I tied up 2 dozen club Flymphs size 12 and presented them to her at my Aunts she was so delighted she showed everyone that came to the house her aunt my cousin gave her a starter outfit and some waders and a vest with a few leaders I also gave her a few leaders . Before dinner we went out back and I had her casting in no time she is stoked . They live in N.Jersey near the Muscconctcong and it lokks as though I will be coaching her on this water as I promised . Does anyone know anything about this river acesss etc .

NIce! Google is your friend, try looking for "fly fishing Muscconctcong".

Here's some helpful background on "The Musky"

I got a book at the auction and it's got a section on the Musconetcong River with access points and such, you can use it.

Good luck, Teach. Glad to hear that your granddaughter is interested in the sport. Will you bring her to the Ressica Falls event?

She is not my granddaughter but my aunts granddaughter and my cousins daughter . That is a great idea to bring her to learn to fish day I will ask her mother . How much is it for kids . By the way I enjoyed Ed Engels presentation last night I like to use that dead drift streamer strategy but i like to use flat mono for this .
