Had the day off for Canadian Memorial Day so decided to try French. I told the Fishing GPS app to find the closest special reg area and it took me to the country recycling depot off of 23 near Kelly's Chevrolet. The guy there said most people who fish this section park at Redners(near French Creek Outfitters) and walk down. What the heck, park there and give it a try. Never fished that stretch before. Had the bamboo, tied on a few split tails and 3rd cast got one. A few more casts, had another. Landed 3 in that hole.
Later went to another spot upstream and got into a nice bend in the creek and ended up catching 7 there.
Also caught an assortment of chubs, sunfish and bass.
Berky maybe you should have gone to French instead of driving all the way up to Ressica.
Saw a few sulfurs, a few larger mayfiles and a few caddis. Nothing to start a feed though.

Funny - that's (Redners Hole) one of the 1st places Frank Theobold told me about years back when I first started fly fishing and met him.

Life is good! I started out with nothing and I still have half of it left!

Someone in the area developed an app for a smartphone that shows access points and regs for pa waters, I still use my DeLorme maps.

Do you know the name of the app or the developer?

The web site for that is www.ultimatefishingmaps.com

They have a chip for Penna, New Jersey and as of last year was just about done one for New York state.

The chips fit into Garmen Nuvi units.
