Green drake dun
Hook ;Tiemco 5212 #8 and #10
Tail:moose mane long and sparse
Body:creamy with a touch of mint color I use caucis dubbing and Phil baldachino dubbing .
Wings; a genourous clump of flourecent yellow calftail upright and divided .
Hackel ;silver or golden badger tied full about 15 to 20 wraps .
Green Drake Spinner [Coffin fly]
Hook ;Tiemco 5212 #8 and #10
Tail ; Moose mane tied long and sparse
Body :I used to use dubbing but after a year or so in youre box it turns an ugly gray offwhite color . I had some thin foam sheets in white so I cut them to 1/8" strips and wrapped them on for the body
They are realy a bright white compared to the rest of the fly and they should not turn to grey .
Wigs;Mallard flank tied upright and divided splayed out slightly .
Hackel ;GOLD OR SILVER BADGER TIED FULL ABOUT 15 OR 20 WRAPS .
yOU CAN TIE THEM WITH JUST THE SPENT WING BUT i SEEM TO DO BETTER WITH THE UPRIGHT CATSKILL STYLE .Tye some up they should be on by the time the camping trip comes
