I first met Dick many years ago when he recently left his corporate job to pursue his passion fly tying and fly fishing. I spent a day with him when he flew into Philadelphia to be our guest speaker. He was a nice person. When he came last for another of our meeting's I had dinner with him and he had some great stories about fly fishing camp shenanigans in Russia.
He's sure to be missed by the fly fishing community.
Life is good! I started out with nothing and I still have half of it left!
