Just joined here. Its Dave,here from Canada. Met you on the salmon river last week above the compactor with my 3 buddies. Just thought id join here and try and educate myself. Your what i call a real fly fisherman and a good ambassador for the sport. Thanks for the education and the good laughs...your line Christmas tree was too funny!!! Too bad that nice steelie was foul hooked...that let me down. Non the less it swam off i hope it survived...i at first thought it was lassooed. Had i known it was fouled i would have broke it off right away. Im sure that fight stressed the fish. Just thought id say hello...and hope to see you and your fishing partner around. Was a pleasure meeting a stand up guy and good legit fisherman. |

Hello & thanks for the nice message.
I did enjoy meeting you guys and fishing with you. I have no problem being nice to and showing good guys like you the right techniques to catch Steel head. Especially since you do appreciate it.
I had a good time fishing with you and your welcome to fish with me any time. Hope to hook up with you guys again sometime.
