JOY,JOY ,JOY what a joy to be abel to drive 2 minutes to get to a real trout stream as opposed to 2 hours . I have to work Sats it is my scheduled day to work Tues thru sat but I get out at 2:30 on sats . This past sat was blue white day so at 2:30 quitin time I high tailed it out of state COLLEDGE TO MISS ANY TRAFIC SNARELS . I had some errands to run gas and grocerys and then I donned my waders and headed down to Penns around 5 I fished till 7:30 and caught 2 dandy rainbows the guys who always rent the cabin next to my old campsite showed up and we traded bs stories it was good to see them again a good bunch of guys from Delaware County . I tried to warn them that there fishing hole down Coburn was not stocked they short stopped about a mile of creek on this years stocking and that's were there hole is but someone else already told them . Iknow a lot of flyfishers along Penns CREEK ARE ANTI STOCKING AND WISH TO HAVE THE WHOLE PRACTICE STOPPED ALONG PENNS . What they do not realize is that the only way to catch rainbows is to stock them there is very little reproduction of rainbows in PA Iknow of 2 streams were it occurs 1 is the upper D the other is Falling Springs in chambersburgh . Also by stocking the rainbows it keeps people from killing the wild browns as the rainbows will be more apt to be caught by the bait guys . Although the weather was stellar on sat the fishing was very slow and no hatches as of yet even though the vercynthia is in full bloom the hendricksons have yet to appear nor has the quill Gordon ,bluequill or granoms . Iam over here at the junction of Logan branch and spring known as the match factory at career link my new computer acess site . I had to get a new parking permit for work so while I was over here I would get some computer time .After I get done HERE I AM GOING OUT BACK TO FISH I DID NOT SEE ANY BUGS BUT WE OF CENTRAL PA KNOW THAT THE NYMPH MAN WILL ALWAYS REIGN SUPREME . I BID YOU ALL ADEW AND WILL SEE YOU ALL AT THE COBURN TRIP CHOW.

I'm glad you're getting along Birky, now go find some unstocked water and drag a few wets for me, you got plenty of choices over there in central Pa.I'll be seeing you sooner or later.
