I made the trip last Sunday up to the jordan creek . This stream is a put and take stream that runs just 5 miles n of the little lehigh . When you get off the 309 at cedar crest blvd make a right instead of a left like you do to reach the little lehi travel 5 miles up and over the mt this will bring you to a bridge that crosses the Jordan bang a left at the bridge and then a right at the redcovered bribge there is a parking area on youre left or go straight and make another left and this will bring you to another parking area this is were I fished . I started with my leadcore setup and a streamer as so often I do this time of year when minnows are a major food source this time as the insects have yet to make an apperance I fish them deep and slow . I fished from upstream of the walkover bridge back down while not catching any I did get a few swipes . wHEN i REACHED the bridge I revamped my set up to my nymph rig and went back up thru with a green weeny and a worm fly I caught 2 1 rainbow and a small browny the rainbow was what I call a LSD RAINBOW due to the vivid colaration like one would see on an acid trip . Anyway it was a butiful day and a new place to fish untill those high temps come in early summer . If youre ever up that way give it a go the cedar creek is also nearby this has colder temps and fishes all summer .
