I am sorry that I missed the meeting, I voted for the bamboo builder, seeing as I like to fish the cane, but the timing was right for a run up north so I took it. I hadn't seen Baker all year but we hooked up and fished the Andro all day Thursday. Here's this year's Baker photo

We get along and fish until dark, why would anyone leave early? The old fart turned 80 this year but you wouldn't know it, except I did manage to beat him to the best hole and cleaned up then proceeded to buy him dinner. 80, **** that sounds old, I have more wrinkles than him somehow.

Every year changes and this year I had more fish on dries than ever, and my best days in New Hampshire on top. That riffle into a shady pool was just the ticket on a sunny day and the bugs were hatching and drawing the fish into range. I do love me a big river.
Friday was the same kind of day , bright and sunny, But I hit a closer
river ,the Pemigawasset, it's where I fish in October for Atlantic Salmon. Early afternoon I found myself on the sunny side with no way to cross and drakes coming off so I drove around and lo and behold found a trail in and hiked to an awesome pool.

It' not called the Granite State for nothin. Once again I found myself tying on a dry and stayed with it the rest of the afternoon.

Nice narrative, nice pictures. Thanks for taking the time to post 'em.

Life is good! I started out with nothing and I still have half of it left!
