I go on a 4 day golf trip the weekend after Mothers Day every year. I stay with a bunch of guys in a cabin at Pine Grove Furnace State Park. Every year on the way I cross over the Yellow Breeches. This year I decided to stop and fish. I went to the flyshop in Boiling Springs. I bought some stuff and talked to the guy behind the counter. He told me the best place to go and where the fishermans parking lot was. When I got there, it was full of cars from TN, NC, MI, OH, and Canada. I found a secluded place on the creek and proceeded to catch lots and lots of fish. I tried most everything in the box but caught everthing on nymphs. I talked to a local in the parking lot. He asked if I was going to be there for the weekend (I was fishing on Thursday). He said they were restocking it on Fri. and Sat (the 17th and 18th). I told him they didn't need to put in anymore fish; they have plenty. It's a couple of hours to get there but well worth the trip. By the way, I fished from 11:00 until 4:00 - probably the worst time of the day.

This is another stream I'd like to explore this year. Was the section you fished crowded? The pictures I see of that area has the FF's stacked like planes landing at the appropriate drift interval. I understand there is a good hiking around there. Maybe everyone in the lot was not on the stream.

Nice! Sounds like you had a good day.

Life is good! I started out with nothing and I still have half of it left!

Doesn't the golfing cut into your fishing time? Sounds like a good time Art.
