Posted - 05/20/2013 : 11:53:28 Friday I had to fish with all the fish talk at the meeting thursday night so I headed up yo the fabulous Broadhead and another stikeout behind the moose . Its no secret I normaly always fish nymphs and this day was no diffrent cept I had Old Tazz along . I t was hard to keep him under control with all the young geese around so after I fished my way up thru the riffel by ther eroding bank I put him back in the truck and tried my luck up at stokes bridge no hits there and no bugs hatching WHAT GIVES ? I mean here we are in the middle of May and no mayflys I heard enough srorys about you should have been here yesterday and they all suck just like the fishing . So after 4 fruitless hours on the Broadhead I headed up to the Bushkill at Resica I normaly fish the upper falls aup the firestone road and ran into a young fella who apparently fishes there regular he was heading in and I went up to the meadow and fished with dryflys no luck . I returned back to the falls and the young fella was coming out with 2 spinning rods in hand apparently they do not teach sign reading down at ESSC were he attends college another yuppy idiot com,ing into the world who does not pay attention to the laws of the land . I am not a gamewarden but I had to inform him of the regs on this water and what would happen if he got caught he gave me I didnt know story and I pointed to the sign . O h well I tried my best any way the Bushkill sucked also 1 nice Brown and a Sunny and no bugs I stayed till 7:30 and no bugs and the temps are already up to 65 already . The big question is were are the fish was this section stocked and what happened to all the bugs ?
