DRY WADERS Posted - 05/14/2013 : 09:42:23
WELL FOLKS 2013 BROOD OF SULPHERS HAS STARTED!
Fished the Pohopoco yesterday, Monday. The weather was 52F cold, cloudy and windy at 12:30pm

Picked up some nice size brookies 12-14" on yellow stones and my version of Walts worm in Tan.
Drove up stream. near gauge caught 9-10" bows on both tan caddis and soft hackle dropper.
Then the sun came out at 2:34pm and in between the heavy gusts(that would stop your fly line and crumple it up) the sulphers started pumping the fluid (blood?)to inflate their wings for lift-off....
The wind made rises and hatching slow but by 4pm I caught a 8" brown on this years first sulpher.
Three miles of water brookies, bows and browns.
