There is an add in the midlantic fly fisher for a new club on the poho . I called the #on the add and talked to the guy he is gonna send me a brochure when I get more info I will post it up . H e did mention this year it will be 400 from august till november they do not take possesion till august but next year it will be over a thousand . Back when I was president I brought up this subject to the board as having club water on the poho not neccasarily a "CLUB" per say but somewere the MLFT could call home and the poho is only an hour away . I wonder what they are leasing this ground for no doubt they are going to make a killing and probably are not paying alot for the lease that could have been us with whats in the account or raise everybodys dues to cover the lease and we could have our own stream water just a thought . By the way this new club water is going to cover 2 miles and ends down by the backwater in palmerton and 2 miles above that on the old campground . |

I got the info in the mail its called Hideway trout club . I ts 300 this year and next year it will be 800 with limited members . They also get into talking about the backwater at Parryville damn I always wanted to launch mty pontoon boat there and paddel upstream to the moving water and fish the sulpher hatch Ill bet there some real lunkers down there in that backwater . |
