Posted - 03/16/2013 : 06:59:52 Scotty, there is a website that shows all the PA streams/lakes in a county that are stocked & when; click on the following:
http://pfbc.state.pa.us/pfbc_webgis/troutstockingdetails.aspx
Then click on "Select a County" (Bucks, Berks, Montgomery, Lehigh, etc.) & click on it.
Click on "GO".
The next screen shows the places in the county that are stocked on specific dates, etc. Be aware that when the state reschedules a stocking, it is shown in red in the stocking info. So if you're going a long distance to fish, check this info to be certain that the place has not been rescheduled for stocking. Good luck. |

Posted - 03/14/2013 : 15:43:32 The nearest real trout stream would be the saucon up in bethlehem not that far above Nockamixon . Take 611 north turn left on 412 up thru helertown when you pass under the 78 overpass keep youre eyes peeled there is a park on youre left just before you get into Bethlehem there are some nice browns in there and it is open now with special regs project water . T he state stocks it in season and there is a good head of wild browns in there it is technical fishing with small flys . sAUCON HELD THE BROOK TROUT RECORD FOR MANY YEARS SO THEY PUT SOME DANDYS IN THERE . |
