Hi guys, can anyone please send a patch of muskrat for a few $ ? Need it to tie the highly recommended Roger Hill's Stillborn Midge for my Colorado trip in a few weeks. Orvis doesn't have it. JStockard's cost $2.50 plus $5 to ship, wth.
Thanks,
George

Sam,
Thanks for the tips. Funny story, I had since rummaged thru my old tying material and found a whole bag of fur patches YOU GAVE ME years ago with, yes, lotsa muskrat. Thanks for that too.

Just tie a Griffith gnat and put a tail on it. Or better yet tie a bunch of real small flymph's. Black & brown with grizzly soft hackles.
They work real well for midges.
