Rich passed on back in July I did not find out tillOctober via a lawyer who was his executor he informed me that Rich had left me all his outdoor gear including all his fishing equpment as well as an old model 1894 winchester the predicessor of the 30 30 . I sent down 4 of his flyrods to be auctioned off at the christmas party . Only 1 sold Steve Ellis still has 2 more rods and he will bring them to future meetings to try and seel them for reasonabel offers . I also have vests waders afew old heddon reels and extra spools see Steve about the rods and call me about the rest 267 750 9610 . Winter has its grip on centre county and the streams are still very low and I fear bad freeze that will freeze penns creek clear down to the stream bottom thus killing all the nymphs as well as any trout that are trapped inthese areas . If this happens there will be a very large fish kill as well as many thousands of nymphs and invertabrates will also perish pray for heavy rain as the streams are in dier straights . The deer hunting this year was the worst I have ever seen the liberal amont of doe tags has taken its tool on the deer heard as it it is way down . I hunted 60 hrs in archery and saw 3 deer I hunted maybe 30 hrs in the gun season and saw zero deer 1 nice bear on opening day and by the sound of the footsteps I thought it was a deer it walked about 10 yds by my stand a nice yearling bear with a buty of a hide pure black . I also have a new job at Penns vally schools I started in october and am almost done my probatinary period it is agood job and I am glad to have it its only a mile away .
