A 13" Rainbow caught on a tandem of a nymph & # 22 black ant; it hit the ant in rapid water.

You'll have to introduce yourself to me, I have no idea what you look like Ed. Scott wanted to tie flies but it wasn't the right time or place for that, however, if you didn't see the bug tray that Don Baylor seined you missed the highlight of the day. That is the part of the puzzle some guys never get, exactly what bugs are in the water.

I caught only 2; the largest one is shown above. A few that I talked to also had limited/no catches. However, am sure that others had good catches. Don't know about stocking practice. Still, it was a good day!! (I thought that you were going to help Scott). And yes, there were LOTS of downed trees, even large ones.

How was the fishing? They did stock some in February but not all the way down to piano pool, I'm sure you saw the downed trees.
