Posted - 08/16/2007 : 13:10:54 Sept 1 marks the opening of 2 game birds Canadian geese 15 perday the entire month of september . This season has been going on for years and Iwas boycotting it back when the feds closed the regular goose season and I REALY CANT GET WORKED UP FOR A WATERFOWL HUNT WHEN THE TEMPS ARE IN THE 80'S BUT WE HAVE TO TAKE THE CARDS THAT ARE DEALT US . Some impressive#'s can be wracked up in this season and there are some waterfwlweather days in this season[rainandwind] so maybe we can get at them . I hear thru the grapevines [ Ibelong to several waterfowl clubs] there will be alot of stops pulled out for this years season unpluuged guns electronic calls and some other things like gunning before and after sunup and sundown LEAD SHOT WOULD BE A PLUSS BUT THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN . THE other bird is the mourning dove the limit is12 a day and this can be some great sport lots of shooting and mostly missing . Anyhow I would love to get back at both of these pursuits so contact me and ill get the decoys ready .
