Well I am going to call this season the year of the thief . As of date we have lost 11 treestands . My main objective is to fill my freezer with venison 1 nice swamp donkey should take care of the task . But above this we must apprehend this theivin bastard and beat him so he will not be abel to hunt this season . I had my last treestand stolen a few weeks ago and figuring the theif was watching our woodlot I opted to install my stand after the opener wich was last sat good thing cause the high was around 80 that day so I would not have hunted anyway .Yesterday I installed my only stand right back in the same tree as the last one it went pretty good a little trouble hauling it in I used my big cart and had some trouble in the hi weeds and humocks before the hardwoods . I had it set in about an hour all relocked with heavy cabels and locks and stabilized wit 2 ratchet straps . The stand was free it was given to me by my friend Russ . After I installed the stand I went back home had some lunch and showered up with m y deerhunters soap and it was off to the stand . A butiful evening and I thought the deer would be up on there feet but I only saw 1 about 200 yds out at it did not come to my can caller this usualy pulls them in buck or doe .I guess they put the feede bag on 2 dayus ago and when the barometer dropped the deer layed down . Anyway after this storm passes they should be back on there feet again and it wqill be back straps on the barby .
