I have shot on occassion at Lower Providence during the fall. Decent club and the night shoots are a pleasent break from the norm.

Right now I've laid off shooting trap as I'll admit I'm a fair weather shooter. When the weather gets back regular to the upper 40's/50's I'll pick it up again. I mainly shoot at a club in the Trexlertown area(lehigh County). They have both trap and skeet. On occassion I might venture over to Lehigh Valley to shoot a round of sporting. Another month should find me back smokin' clays on a regular basis again.

Hi. I am new to this forum but I am not new to fishing or guns. Does any body go to lower Providence gun club? I go there Friday nights and shot trap under the lights it is pretty neat. We do not shot doubles to much in the cold weather. I shot a Bucks county when I can. But mostly I shoot at South End gun club in Reading it has 38 trap houses. About 6 of us try to go up to Lehigh Valley to do some sporting clays once a month.

If guns kill people I can blame misspelled words on my pencil.

Wind..........I'm down to shooting Trap every Sunday in the Lehigh Valley provided it isnt freezing. Let me know if you want to go. I may go this saturday (10th) ,but that's a rare exception. Club shoots from 12-5PM.

Anytime that you need someone to shoot with give me a call and if I'm not working- I'll go shooting. I really need to get back into the swing of shotgunning. Since I moved off of the farm I just have not been shooting as much as I would like to.

Lehigh Valley is a sporting clays course and is a combination of all clay games & rolling rabbit targets as well. Shooting over water, in-between buildings, and targets from all angles are all part of the game. Two different levels of difficulty can be selected. Shotguns can be rented if you dont have one. Shells can be purchased as well. You can shoot 1/2 the course or all the course. Walk or rent a cart. Fun day!!

I"ll pick a weekend date and you guys can change it, or shoot for the date below.

"Saturday Sept. 22nd"

PS if you want info on the rates and the course ..Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays should bring up the site.........I'll wait to hear from everybody.

Finally got a chance to visit the forum, nice job guys it looks great! I Like sam's idea lets get a shooting day going. I usually shoot at the Holmesburg Club in Philadelphia. I have heard great things about the Lehigh Valley club, that would be a great location for our shoot, let me know what you guys think

Bucks county gun club were I have ben a member since 72 . Tuseday night they have fun trap 25 rounds I THINK its about five bucks it starts at opening time and goes till dark. There is also sugarbottom road they have the traps you bring your own clay and it is less formal but a little muddy at times so that leaves out some of the GQ shooters whomight get a little mud on there guns . The all time best is twins shooting preserve in millford [near Quakertown] they have 1 awesome course withlots of doubels Ill be up for any of these as long as we do it on a weeknight .
