Well I see everybody seems to be woried about there image and how we must act in the publick eye . This is not one of theose stories so if youre a borderline libral or a flaming liberal do not read this story . As I write about the kill I do not give a rats ass about how the antis feel they can all go pound sand . I love the sight of blood especialy when I caused it even when I was aboy and I got in a fight to bloddy the other boy was atrue trophy and kudos were had by all if you won and the other kid was bloody this was adoubel reward . So here goes yesterday I left work with one thing in mind to KILL deer with the bow . I have been patiently waiting all season up in atree waiting for thepefect shot . I passed on easy shots on doe and buck due to vegatation . I was now ready to take the shot . So i got up in my stand and all settled in by 4:15 . It was not long till I hear crunching leaves a great sound for an archer . I t was the moma doe and her fawn coming straight to me and slightly off to my right . These were the 2 I have been seeing all season and could never get a clear shot at mom .Although it was not a broadside shot I had to take it Mom was getting a little skitzy as well asthe fawn . I had a small window of opurtunity so I drew back my old continental and let the easton 2419 and 125 grain razorback fly . Even though it was a moving shot it looked like it was ready to bolt . The arrow dissapeared into the back of the deer a tad shy of the lungs and passed thru . She welled and turned for the swamp I knew I had a good hit on her as ahe staggered off . I patiently watched as she dissapeared near the swamp she then reapeared and this time she looked realy strange I picked up my binocs and appeared that a huge gut ple was hanging out of her undercarrige it was horrific . I watched as she walked around with all her inards hanging out not cool but very strange . She then dissapeared into the swamp . This swamp is no joke you would need that guy Smegel from TheLord of The RINGS , hE WOULD BE THE ONLY GUY TO GET THRU . Any way I followed the blood into the swamp and then the blood and the lights dissapeared . I decided to come back in the morn with my chest waders and get my meat deer . At this point I headed back out to my truck to see if Arty and his saw any thing . Well on the way out Arty was coming behind me he said he just killed a doe with all its guts hanging out . He said the doe walked passed his stand he shot at it and hit it in the ass he watched go up and over the old rr bed and crash on the other side upon coming upon her there he proceededto empty his quiver into her . We went down together to retrieve her it looked like custers last stand arrows everwere . I gave Arty the deer but it was my shot that killed her she would have died there along the tracks but he put her down . Upon going over the events of this gut job I knew there was some question of agut shot when I climbed down out of the stand I got my arrow it was coverd in **** and blood . I still cant explain how the guts spilled out I guess from the treajectory and the exitangel the broad head must have sliced the belly open . The schest cavity was full opf blood so it also hit a few arterys. The deer was recoverd within the hour and cleaned and on its way to the butcher for some tasty meat .

First there was Gomer Pyle, now we've got Sargent Pile, a.k.a Sargent Gut Pile Birkenmaier. Hell of of way to get one Birkie, but congrats, the drought is over. The pressure is off and you can take that big buck now.

Life is good! I started out with nothing and I still have half of it left!
