Sat. archery,s open I found myself yup in my treestand at 5:30 am . The conditions moonlite and breezy temp in the low to mid 40's . Location Baldeagel state forest , AT about daybreak I wads on the ready scanning the surround when I heard a twig crack . I instictavly went for my bow and slowly turned around . Itwas not a deer but a BOBCAT coming right under my tree I MIGHT HAVE MUTTERD SOMETHING OR GASSPED but the cat turned and followed it's path out the way it came IT was not alarmed and just ambeled away in normal gate. The curse of the white deer is still with me for I did not see aglimpse of anyy deer . This will make 11 deerless openers since I arrowed the pibald 8 pointer.Maybe the cat is a harbionger of better or worse to come whatever it means I hope there is a deer in the near future with my tag on it.
